If a parquet sealer is used on a toboggan.....

Werner Friedl is a toboggan builder who builds sledges by hand in Allgaeu (between Marktoberdorf and Schongau) and paints them with IRSA Holzsiegel 2010 High Solid (IRSA Wood Sealer 2010 High Solid) (actually a parquet varnish). According to Mr. Friedl, he has tried many varnishes, but only the IRSA varnish withstands wind, weather and stress.

The beautiful toboggans made by Werner Friedl and his team (Marlene and Maximilian Friedl) weigh only 6,5 kg  and convince by their unusual design with an excellent price-performance ratio. The textile seat, as well as the wooden frame (colourful sledges are dyed with varnish and matching pastes) can be designed in a variety of ways, for example with company logos and many different colours - creating an individual toboggan artwork.

According to him, he tried a lot of varnishes, but only the IRSA varnish can withstand wind, weather and stress.

Toboggan enthusiasts such as the Allgaeu tobogganing enthusiast Werner Friedl and his team travel once a year to the notorious toboggan race on the Hirschberg (Tegernsee) - 44 bends and a distance of 4.8 km have to be mastered. 100 starters come here every year. Werner Friedl and his team are known as the "fast people from the Allgaeu". The sport tobogganing is not harmless, because experts reach on the track up to 80 km/h, so that injuries often occur.
 
But Werner Friedl and his team know what they are doing - in tobogganing, as well as in sledge construction and its surface protection.
