The German Embassy in Bangkok does not only represent Germany diplomatically and culturally but is also one of the most important European trade partners in Thailand.

One hundred and fifty years ago, the Prussian Minister Friedrich Graf zu Eulenburg and the emissaries of the Siamese king Mongkut signed a „Friendship, Trade and Shipping Contract“ which was the beginning of the diplomatic relationships between Germany and Thailand.

Today, the cooperation between Germany and Thailand covers joint research and scientific projects, a number of university cooperations and several joint cultural projects. Germany is by far the most important European trade partner for Thailand – more than 500 German companies are active there. Thailand is a popular destiny for German travellers – more than 500,000 German tourists spend their annual holidays there.

The renovation of the precious wood floors should only be performed with highly qualitative craftsmanship and quality products.

The German Embassy renovated the office with the present mosaic parquet floor and mosaic floor in the residence of the embassador, so that the floors could shine again. Besides the general suitability of the rich wood, a chemical and mechanical resistance of the chosen oil should be considered. Also the type of glowing of the wood, as well as how fast the surface can be used again, is very important for the customer. Further maintenance and cleaning should be easily performed and freshing up and renovation should be easily guaranteed. After extensive controls, the customer chose IRSA 2C HP-Plus Oil, High-Solid 2 component oil (mixed with IRSA Hardener 2C HP-Plus (10:1).

Konzept Worx renovated the floors in the German Embassy in Bangkok very quickly and professionally with IRSA 2C HP-Plus Oil, colourless, High-Solid 2 component oil and the IRSA Hardener 2C HP-Plus (10:1).

The solvent-free IRSA 2C HP-Plus Oil, High-Solid 2 component oil dries oxidatively and by adding the Hardener IRSA Hardener 2C HP-Plus Oil and is available in colourless, light sand, black, dark grey, light grey, white, wenge; special tones are available on request.

IRSA 2C HP-Plus Oil can be used for parquet and wood floors, for bamboo, cork and OSB, boards, sanded wood blocks, as well as finally sanded several layer parquet elements in the interior area, as well as for floor heating. It is an extremely fast-drying oil for every stress level and can be applied without film formation ( follow-up oiling is possible in this case). This quick drying allows to perform renovations in a short time in extremely stressed areas (restaurant area, hotel, premises, offices, etc.), without limiting mechanical and chemical stress (after 24 hours). IRSA Basic Color, IRSA Design Farböl or IRSA Lauge can be used as first coat. Therefore, you can achieve unique, numerous and individual combination possibilities with these IRSA products!

The solvent-free IRSA 2C HP-Plus Oil, High-Solid 2 component oil is approved by the building authority under the no.: Z-157.10-143 by the DIBT and tested according to DIN 51130/Anti-Slip Class R 10 and gives a permanent protection after follow-up oiling. As no film has formed on the wood surface with IRSA 2C HP-Plus Oil – the wood pores are absorptive and therefore follow-up oiling with IRSA Pflegeöl can be performed. Regular freshing up and later renovation is possible without sanding. The IRSA 2C HP-Plus Oil is extremely quick drying and very efficient. The floor can be already used after 24 hours after oiling. The consumption is between 20-50 ml/m2 per application, depending on the absorbity of the wood and application procedure (spatula or rolling procedure).

Longer value retention of the surface is achieved with the agreed IRSA clean and caring products.

Depending on the desired appearance, surfaces oiled with IRSA products are treated with IRSA Pflegeöl (for mat surfaces) or IRSA Natura Hartwachs (for silky shining surfaces) and IRSA Pflegemilch (for additional glance in wiping water). Cleaning is carried out with IRSA Seifenreiniger, IRSA Natura Hartwachs (in waxed floors) or also with IRSA Pflegeöl (cleaning and caring). IRSA Grundreiniger G88 is used to remove permanent dirt and for basic cleaning. IRSA Seifenreiniger and IRSA Pflegemilch is used in the German Embassy. Annual freshing up is professionally carried out once a years by Konzept Worx.
