The opportunity to marry in a very special location ....

80 m2 inlaid parquet flooring at the Igling (Upper Bavaria) registry office:
An impressive example of sustainable craftsmanship was achieved with extensive laying work!

Master parquet layer Hans-Jörg Bader was looking for a naturally mat and highly hard-wearing sealant; the 2-component water-based varnish IRSA Platinum 3030, ultra-mat. The product shows high chemical resistance, is waterproof, extremely wear and scratch resistant and dries quickly. The sealant has been tested in accordance with DIN V18032-2 and is also suitable for sports hall floors.

The floor is maintained and cleaned at the same time with the mat combination product IRSA Aqua Star R9, in order to maintain the beautiful mat appearance for longer. IRSA Aqua Star R9 is also tested (DIN V18032-2) and is suitable for sports floors, too.

The new registry office of Igling – municipality in the Upper Bavarian administrative district of Landsberg am Lech – should receive an exceptional floor for its intended use.

This requires a specialist company that masters an old craftsmanship.

The floor shows complicated marquetry work: With the incorporation of a rising sun and sunbeams from smoked oak, wenge in an oak upstand parquet, Andreas – called a perfectionist by his colleagues – has created an extraordinary flooring. The sun is a symbol for the rhythm of life and thus also a symbol for progress and development.

3B Bodenbeläge Börmann & Bader GmbH masters traditional craftsmanship and offers a competent all-round service.

Andreas enjoys working for 3B Bodenbeläge Börmann & Bader GmbH in Aitrang. Managing Director Martin Börmann Professional for screed and flooring and Hans-Jörg Bader (master craftsman for interior decorators and parquet layers) runs the company successfully together with their wives.

In 2006, the managing directors of the two companies Aitranger Estrich & Fussboden GmbH and the flooring company Hans-Jörg Bader from Unteregg joined forces and founded 3B Bodenbeläge Börmann & Bader GmbH. Since then, there has been one contact person who is able to offer expert and competent knowledge of all topics from screed to top layers, the renovation of worn floor covers and upholstery work as part of an all-round service.

The concept worked – today, the two family businesses in the heart of the Allgäu have 65 employees. Their motto, “when two companies build on each other” was a success.

Hans-Jörg Bad gladly accepted the challenge of creating a sustainable work of floor art with a prescribed limited budget.

Staff member Andreas not only perfectly implemented his design idea with an elaborate inlaying work, he kept the budget, installed a flooring material that could be renovated several times and was thus sustainable.

In contrast to wenge, oak slats are not regarded as luxury floors, but rather as industrial parquet flooring for highly durable commercial use. The floor design plays with this contradictory materiality and the way in which it is laid. With inlays made of oak and wenge and an elaborate installation, an impressive example of craftsmanship was achieved!

Highest quality surface protection with IRSA Platinum 3030 ultramatt, 2K water-based varnish

In order to avoid possible discolouration and to obtain a well adhering primer with a nice lightening effect, a very fast drying alcohol-based primer was chosen. IRSA Uni Primer AL is suitable for all domestic and exotic woods and insulates their wood constituents to a large extent. Wax residues in the joints of old floors are also largely insulated. Oak, smoked oak and wenge are particularly beautifully cheered on.

Master parquet layer Hans-Jörg Bade was looking for a natural-looking matt and highly hard-wearing sealant, the 2-component water-based varnish IRSA Platinum 3030 ultramatt. The product shows a high chemical resistance, is waterproof, extremely wear and scratch resistant and dries quickly. The sealant has been tested according to DIN V18032-2 and is therefore also suitable for sports hall floors.

Correct care ensures a long service life and preservation of the value of the soil.

The floor is maintained and at the same time cleaned with the matt combination product IRSA Aqua Star R9, in order to maintain the beautiful matt appearance for longer. IRSA Aqua Star R9 is also tested (DIN V18032-2) and suitable for sports floors.
